Prerequisite

The candidate should be ready with a soft copy of her/his recent passport size colour photo (not more than six months old) in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif formats, with a size between 10 KB to 5 MB to be uploaded to her/his registration form.

SNAP 2024

A candidate aspiring to join a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme offered by any Institute of SIU has to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at Test Centres.

Registration Instructions:-

Click on 'Register'.
Read all the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'Continue' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Click on 'Save & Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email id that you have entered.
Enter the 'OTP' and submit.
After successful registration, you will get an e-mail & SMS containing your SNAP ID and password. Use this SNAP ID for all communications regarding the SNAP 2024 entrance test / admission procedure.
Pay the SNAP test registration fee of INR 2250 per test [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal.
A candidate aspiring to join her/his desired M.B.A. programmes is required to complete the registration process of those programmes before the closing date of the same. Payment towards the programme registration fee must be made through the Registration Portal. After making the payment for SNAP Test registration fee, a candidate is required to make separate registration fee payment of INR 1,000 (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) (Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable) per programme per institute at this stage.
The modes of payment for the programme(s) registration fee is same as that for SNAP.
Candidate must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.
A candidate is required to fill in the correct information in the online registration form which corresponds to her/his credentials.
Register online on the www.snaptest.org website (upto November 22, 2024 (Friday).
Note: No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances.
Please also note that if any information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect, the University shall have right to cancel the candidature of that candidate

A candidate is required to submit a Demand Draft (DD) for (Non-Transferable and Non Refundable) registration fee of INR 2250 per test [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] from any Nationalized Bank in favour of 'Symbiosis Test Secretariat' payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'Demand Draft' in 'Make Payment' Tab. Print the payment advice form, verify the details and the amount, get a DD from any Nationalized Bank, fill in the DD details, sign and send the Payment advice form along with the DD to the address mentioned below:

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat will authenticate the receipt of the DD. Only after the payment is realized, would the candidate be able to view her/his Admit Card.

A similar process will need to be followed if a candidate chooses Demand Draft option for the Programme(s) registration fee of the Institute(s). Note that the Programme registration fee of the Institute(s) is INR 1000 [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] (Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable) per programme per Institute.

A candidate is required to download and print her/his SNAP Test Admit Card from the SNAP website [snaptest.org] available from December 02, 2024 (Monday) for SNAP Test 1, December 09, 2024 (Monday) for SNAP Test 02 and December 15, 2024 (Sunday) for SNAP Test 03 till the test day.
The candidate should ensure that her/his latest passport size, colour photograph is pasted on the Admit Card at the place provided for before appearing for the test (The photograph should not be more than six months old).
Admit Card along with Original Photo Identity Proof should be carried to the Test Centre at the time of the test. An acceptable photo identity is any one of the following,
- Passport
- Driving license
- Voter ID Card
- PAN Card
- AADHAR Card (UID).
Note: Soft copy of identity proof will not be accepted.
An authorized person will verify and authenticate the Admit Card against the photo-id on the day of the test. The candidate should preserve this authenticated Admit Card for further GE-PI processes.
The candidate should note that an authenticated Admit Card is an important document without which the candidate will not be permitted to appear for further selection processes of SIU. If the Authenticated Admit card is lost, a duplicate Admit Card will not be issued. It should be retained till the admission process is over.
The candidate is advised to locate the allocated test Centre at least a day in advance to avoid any issue on the day of the test.
Travel and staying arrangements will need to be done by the candidate..
The scores published by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU] shall be final and shall not be subject to any appeal or revaluation.

Applicant ID

1. I have received Application ID & Password, what can I use it for?

You can use the Application ID & password to fill in the main Registration Form, view / print the form, check 'MyMail', Modify Personal details, Check the status of your application. You will receive an email within 24 hours of registration. If you do not, please email support@ishinfo.com

Technical Problems

2. I could not register online for application, since the following error message appeared - "Java Script Error".

Please use Internet Explorer version 6.0 or above. This application also supports Mozilla and Google Chrome

3. I could not register online, as I am not able to proceed after "Continue".

This application uses JavaScript Please make sure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser. To enable JavaScript Go to: Tools>>Internet Options>>Security>>Custom Level. Scroll down until you see section labelled 'Scripting' Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK. “Click refresh” and do the registration again.

Changes in Application form

4. If I want to make any changes in my application form or I want to change my Program Preferences.

No changes shall be permitted under any circumstances in the online registration form.

Post Registration

5. I have registered online and made all the payment. What is the next step?

If you have made online payment then system will automatically update your payment status. However if you have paid through Offline mode then you will have to upload the bank transaction copy and fill the transaction details in the payment window of online registration portal

English proficiency exam

6. Who shall appear for English proficiency exam?

Foreign Nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will have to appear for English Proficiency Exam.

7. Which exam result do you accept?

At Symbiosis we accept only IELTS or IELA scores; we do not accept TOEFL score.

8. What is IELA?

'International English Language Assessment (IELA) Test is conducted in Pune by English Language Teaching Institute of Symbiosis (ELTIS) which measures students' ability to communicate in English across the language skills of vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing.

9. Where can I register for IELA Exam

The students can register for IELA at the time of filling up the Main Registration Form. You have to select IELA as your English proficiency test option; subsequently the system will prompt you to provide further details to register yourself for IELA. Here you will have to select Month, Day and Time slot for IELA exam. Subsequently, the information system will register you for IELA exam automatically. IELA exam fee will be added into your payment details along with the Application Fee. You will get IELA Exam hall ticket by Email.

10. What will be the minimum score I will require?

The minimum score required for IELTS is Band/Score 6 & for IELA Band/Score 4.

11. Which module do I opt for IELTS?

You are required to take ‘Academic module’

SNAP Test / GMAT Exam

12. Who shall appear for SNAP test or GMAT exam?

Non Resident Indian (NRI) students will have to appear for SNAP test or GMAT exam. These are not mandatory requirements, NRI students with SNAP or GMAT score will secure extra weightage of 10%.

14. What are the steps for NRI student who want to register for SNAP Test and online application under international student category?
